Animal Action League
Twice a year St Barnabas hosts Animal Action League - a non-profit Spay and Neuter clinic that provides low cost, quality spay/neuter services for cats and dogs. The Animal Action League brings their Mobile Clinic to St Barnabas to provide spay/neuter, vaccination and microchip services directly to the communities where pets and their owners most need help in obtaining such services at an affordable price.
Animal Action League was founded in 1989 to provide spay/neuter services for underprivileged cats and dogs that were not being reached by more traditional veterinary services. This service was offered free to low income pet owners that might not otherwise be able or motivated to spay/neuter or maintain current vaccinations for their pets. AAL determined that a mobile clinic would be the most effective way to address this issue. AAl offers quality, “no frills” service and bring it directly to the community where these animals and their owners most desperately need help. St Barnabas is proud to be the semi-annual host location for AAL in the Borrego Valley.
The next Mobile Clinic at St Barnabas will be October 2022. No appointment necessary for vaccination or micro-chip services. Spay/Neuter services do require an appointment. Call 760-366-1100 for a spay/neuter appointment.
