Our Services

We celebrate the Eucharist every Sunday at 9:30 a.m., as well as on major feast days such as Christmas and Easter. Our worship follows the contemporary form of the Book of Common Prayer (Rite II) and is supported by our talented organist and pianist, lectors, chalice bearers, greeters, and altar guild.

During the summer months, services are occasionally held in the Parish Hall to conserve energy and limit the use of air conditioning. These gatherings are more informal—without a choir but with joyful congregational singing—and may include one of the alternative liturgies authorized by the Church.

Throughout the year, St. Barnabas offers several special services, including Lessons and Carols on Christmas Eve, a Palm Sunday procession from the palapa to the church, and the traditional Holy Week observances that lead to the Easter Vigil.

On Easter morning, our community joins together for an ecumenical Sunrise Service on the hill behind the Methodist Church. Afterward, we hold a simple communion service and our regular 9:30 a.m. celebration.

Each Sunday concludes with fellowship and refreshments provided by parishioners—an opportunity to connect, share conversation, and welcome newcomers into the St. Barnabas family.

For those unable to attend in person—whether traveling, at home, or away for the season—our weekly service is also available via Zoom
