How to Find a Caregiver in Borrego Springs
- IHSS Program – For those who qualify, Medi-Cal pays for caregiver services through IHSS. Independent caregivers are screened by both San Diego County and the State of California before being listed. To get started, call IHSS at 866-351-7722 .
- Borrego Springs Caregiver Registry – The Borrego Springs Community Resource Center maintains a local registry of caregivers. This list includes qualifications, certifications, languages spoken, and references so families can select the right fit. A volunteer RN also provides ongoing caregiver support.
- Private Pay Caregivers – Some families choose to hire caregivers privately, making payment arrangements directly with the provider.
